And thanks to the Victorian Government’s Community Motorsport Program & the Bendigo Car Club\, it’s FREE!  \nThis introduction to motorsport event consists of both theory and practical aspects of getting started in different motorsport genres including motorkhanas\, hillclimbs\, track days and supersprints.  \nBring your own car and increase your confidence in your car’s handling capabilities. The practical side takes place on the wet skid pan where you will learn the capability and limits of your car\, whilst learning advanced driving techniques for when you head out on the track. \nAll you need to get started is a roadworthy car and you can get started using your daily drive. You don’t even need a helmet! DESCRIPTION:Our Race Chix Karting Team is gearing up for 2023 and we’d like to invite any Chix that are interested in joining the team to come and join us on Sunday 25 September at 10am at Picton Karting Track to meet the team\, have a fang on some karts\, have all your karting questions answered and enjoy a BBQ brunch with the Race Chix Karting Team. \nThe cost of kart hire is additional\, being paid directly to Picton Karting Track on the day (you’ll be able to choose how many sessions you’d like to do). \nIf you’re keen to give competitive karting a go\, come join us! No previous karting experience required. \nPlease note the minimum age to join the Race Chix Karting Team is 16 as we compete in endurance karting events. \nFamily\, friends and fellas are more than welcome to attend with their Race Chic. \nRegistrations close Sunday 18 September. \n  \nABOUT THE RACE CHIX KARTING TEAM \nThe mission of the Race Chix Karting Team is to help and encourage more women into karting. Race Chix has partnered with Andrew Starkey Racing (ASR) who provides our racing karts\, training and technical support for the team. \nThe ASR Race Chix Karting Team began in 2021 with the team competing in The Endurance Karting Association (TEKA) Championship\, with drivers from NSW\, ACT & VIC. In 2022 the team moved to competing in the 4 Stroke Karting Association (4SKA) Championship and will continue in this championship in 2023\, with hopefully two karts/teams at each round. \nThe 4SKA Championship consists of endurance rounds\, of mainly six hour races\, with three to four drivers per kart. The location varies each round\, with the team travelling to tracks including Canberra\, Dubbo\, Orange\, Manning Valley\, Port Macquarie\, Newcastle and Eastern Creek. \n

DESCRIPTION:Our Motorsport 101 course is for Chix who would love to start their motorsport journey and hit the track! \nYou will learn the fundamentals of participating in motorsport from both theory and practical perspectives. The course begins with theory (we get the boring stuff out of the way) and then the fun begins! The practical side takes place on the wet skid pan where you will learn the capability and limits of your car\, whilst learning advanced driving techniques for when you head out on the track. \nAll you need to get started is a roadworthy car and you can get started using your daily drive. You don’t even need a helmet! DESCRIPTION:Our Race Chix Karting Team is gearing up for another year of competition and we’d like to invite any Chix that are interested in joining the team to come and join us on Sunday 30 January at Picton Karting Track to meet the team\, have a fang on some karts\, have all your karting questions answered and enjoy a BBQ brunch with the Race Chix Karting Team. \nCost of kart hire is additional and to be paid directly to Picton Karting Track on the day. Registrations close Sunday 23 January. \nFamily\, friends and fellas are more than welcome to attend with their Race Chic. \nABOUT THE RACE CHIX KARTING TEAM \nThe mission of the Race Chix Karting Team is to help and encourage more women into karting. Race Chix has partnered with ASR Racing to provide the kart\, training and technical support for the team\, with the Race Chix team being one of six karts ASR runs in the TEKA championship. Being part of a bigger karting family provides great camaraderie and support from fellow karters in the ASR stable. \nIn 2021 the Race Chix Karting Team travelled around NSW competing in The Endurance Karting Association (TEKA) Championship\, with drivers drivers from Sydney\, Canberra & even Victoria! In 2022 we’ll again be travelling around NSW but we’ll be competing in the 4 Stroke Karting Association (4SKA) Championship. \nPlease note the minimum age to join the Race Chix Karting Team is 16.

DESCRIPTION:WITH SUPERCARS COMING TO SMSP ON THIS DATE UNFORTUNATELY THIS COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED  \nLearn how to create and control over-steer and develop your advanced vehicle handling skills with all electronic aids turned off. With a maximum of 12 vehicles\, under the guidance of our professional instructors from Driving Solutions and using your own vehicle\, we promise you will love every minute. \nRecommended for rear wheel drive cars\, and vehicles with the ability to turn off electronic aids. \nEvent requirements: \n\nThis event requires some previous motorsport experience as a prerequisite.\nAll drivers must have a minimum of a P1 (Red P-Plate) Licence.\n\nPlease bring your licence with you as you will need to present this at registration. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\n\nWHAT TO WEAR\nPlease wear casual\, comfortable clothing\, keeping in mind weather conditions. Ensure that you wear comfortable flat\, closed in shoes. Please note that high heels\, thongs or sandals are not permitted. \nVEHICLE REQUIREMENTS\nPlease ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and has: \n\nThe correct oil and water levels\nA full tank of fuel\nTyre pressures at recommended manufacturer levels\, please refer to your vehicle handbook for optimum levels.\nRemove any loose items from your vehicle\n\nFOOD & BEVERAGES\nA light lunch after the course will be provided. The onsite café may not be open but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. No alcohol should be consumed for at least 12 hours prior to the course. \n\n\nWEATHER\nAll courses go ahead whatever the weather conditions. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone a course we will contact you as soon as possible. \n\n\nCANCELLATIONS OR DATE CHANGES\nCancellations must be advised at least 7 days prior to the course date\, so that a transfer to another date can be arranged\, cancellations after this date will result in a forfeit of all fees paid. Transfers must be completed within 6 months of the original course date. Refunds for cancellation within 7 days of the course or non-attendance are not available. \n\n\nDIRECTIONS\nEnter Sydney Motorsport Park via Gate A on Ferrers Road. Once on Ferrers Road\, Sydney Motorsport Park is on the left-hand side\, with yellow and black signage. Once you are within Sydney Motorsport Park\, please proceed to the Skid Pan (after the tunnel turn right\, where the Medical Centre will be on your left). Park your vehicle on the skid pan\, sign on will take place on the Skid Pan. \n\n\n\n\n
